I started off with this image pretty much in my head and when I thought I first finished it I kept thinking what else I could do do it to make it more interesting. I changed the colors around about 5 times and I kept adding little things such as moving the M to edge off the planet then adding a shadow behind the M then behind the world. After going through a bunch of different possibilities this is what I finally ended up with.
