Commercial Evaluations

This commercial is about Under Armor trying to sell their merchandise. They are using a very popular sports figure in the past year to help sell their product. They are using a happy sport like atmosphere to sell their product. Their target audience is young athletes that are trying to enhance their comfort during a game.

This is a commercial from Nike putting emphasize on their slogan "Just Do It". They used Lebron James as a figure for the saying Just Do It due to all the criticism towards him during the past year for his decision to change teams. They are trying to sell their sports product to athletes around the world by trying to say be what ever you want to be just do what you love.

ESPN is making a commercial about getting you to watch sports programs. They are using the very well known saying "Roll Tide" in their commercial to relate to the sports world. They are trying to imply that all those people in those scenarios watch sports and since everyone is doing it you should too. This commercial is very successful because not only does it appeal to the sports world but it is funny and amusing and it makes people want to tune into ESPN.

The product trying to be sold in this commercial is the chips Doritos. They are trying to use humor to sell their product. They are also trying to use sex appeal to make their product more appealing to men. They are trying to say that when you eats their chip that it is so good you will celebrate like you would in a sports game and get flagged for excessive celebration.

They are using humorous dialogue to appeal to their consumers. 1) What is your business?
We are a corporate enterprise.
2) Describe your business in one sentence
We have numerous departments within our corporation that manufacture items such as toys and things of that nature, we have departments that sell wholesale food such as produce to supermarkets, we have a department that sells real estate and other departments that sell etc.
3) Who is your target audience?
Business men and entrepreneurs.
4) Who are your competitors?
Toys r us, Driscole Berries, Real estate companies, Louie Vuitton, other companies that would match one of our departments criteria.
5) What makes them better/worse than your product/service?
They are worse because they are not as dominant as us and we offer the best service in all of our departments.
8) How do you want your image to be seen in two years?
We are already as big as you can get so just to keep providing the same quality of business we have always been.
9) If your company was an animal, what animal would it be and why?
A lion because it is the king of the jungle and very dominant. Everybody respects the lion and would be a fool to mess with it.
10) If your company/brand was a person, who would it be and why?
The president because he is the leader and a very strong spoken person and weather or not you like him you respect him.
11) If your company/brand was an object, what would it be?
A $100 bill.
12) If your customer was a cartoon character, who would it be?
No idea.
